One of the largest Rock and Gem shows in the Mid-west! Over 50,000 sq. ft. of show space

 

Schools Only:

Friday 9 am - 1 pm

Sign up your class for Kid’s Day and request a bus subsidy e-mail HERE

Open to public: (Note - times may change, recheck here in 2025)

Friday 2 pm - 8 pm

Saturday 10 am - 6 pm

Sunday 10 am - 5 pm

Entrance Fees

Adults (12 and up) $5.00

Kids (under 12) Free with paid adult.

Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Campfire Girls, Bluebirds free when in uniform!

Expo Policy: NO PETS

Note: Admission to the Rock and Gem Show is cash only. There is an ATM in the lobby of the Expo Center.

We DO NOT do pre-sale of tickets! Tickets are only available at the door. Do not trust anyone offering on-line sales of KGMS Show tickets.

In addition to club and show rules, the Kalamazoo County Expo Center also requires guests to adhere to their Policies and Procedures which can be found here.

This years speakers include Eric Rintamaki and Paul Brandes.

Eric Rintamaki is the founder and discoverer of the famous "Yooperlite".

Paul Brandes is the author of "Michigan Rocks! A Guide to Geological Sites in the Great Lakes State"

In past years speakers have included: John A. Jaszczak, Ph.D. director of the A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum, MTU, Michigan’s own meteorite hunter, Larry Atkins, Paleo Joe and a number of others notable individuals.

Geological Education including Scholarships for Western Michigan University geology students, other grants related to the earth sciences.
