Michigan Gold Mine Field Trip

2018 Gold Mine Field Trip Registration Opens May 12 Registration for the Ishpeming Rock and Mineral Club’s August 6 special field trip to the Michigan Gold Mine will open on May 12, 2018. We will be limiting the trip to 40 people. We have changed a couple of times and dates to make registration a little easier. To Register: Send an email with the participant’s name, email and mailing address to register@ishpemingrocks.org. One participant per email. A participant list will be compiled from these emails, based on the time sent – first come, first served. No emails sent before 12:00 Noon EDT May 12 will be accepted. Emails received after the first 40 participants will be put on a waiting list. Once the participant list is filled, we will send out confirmation emails with a registration form attached. You must fill out the form and mail it to the club along with the $25/person field trip donation – one participant per registration form. Registrations and donations must be received by July 1, 2018. Registrations are not transferable and donations are not refundable. If somebody on the participant list is unable to attend or fails to register and pay by the deadline, the next person on the waiting list will be given an opportunity to register. On the day of the field trip, registered participants must come to the meeting place to sign a liability waiver, receive a safety briefing and get a wristband. The usual Field Trip Safety Rules will apply.
